Some people will always want more power, and for them, BMW built the M Roadster, a version of the Z3 with the engine out of an M3. BMW did also build a hardtop version of the car, but this was controversial. Nonetheless, it still had its fans, but the M Roadster was the much more universally beloved of the two. But more importantly, it was still a purist's version of a roadster, just one that suddenly had a ton more power and distinct wider rear end. The M Roadster...Not to be mistaken as a Z3! Some M Roadster's are now selling for more than $120k. This particular M Roadster really is a 'Road Star'.
